1. Introduction

GetMaximumFit ("we," "our," or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and Apple TV application (collectively, the "App").

We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and applicable Apple HealthKit Guidelines.

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide Directly

  • Account details (name, email, profile image)
  • Workout plans, fitness goals, and training history
  • Feedback or ratings on workouts
  • Photos or media you choose to upload

b. Automatically Collected Information

  • Device details (model, OS, language, app version)
  • Usage analytics (screens viewed, features used)
  • Aggregated, anonymized performance data

Diagnostics & Error Reports

When the App hits a problem — a crash, or a failure such as an import or an AI request that does not complete — it sends us a technical report so we can find and fix it. Each report contains:

  • The error type, error message, and technical stack trace
  • The screen or feature where the problem occurred
  • App version and build number, platform, and operating system version
  • Your account identifier, so we can see how many people a problem affects and respond if you contact us about it
  • Non-identifying technical details about the action that failed — for example the size in characters of a file you were importing, or how many items were selected

What error reports never contain:

  • Your workouts, training history, programs, or any plan you paste or import
  • Your conversations with the AI coach
  • Any health or fitness data, including Apple Health data and body measurements
  • Your name, email address, or profile image
  • Photos or files you upload

Error reports are used only to diagnose and fix faults in the App. They are never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with third parties for their own purposes. You can turn error reporting off at any time under Settings → Share diagnostics in the App.

c. Health & Fitness Data (Apple Health, Wearables)

  • Workout type, duration, calories burned
  • Heart rate data (if enabled)
  • Steps and activity metrics (only with your explicit permission)

Apple Health Compliance:

  • Health data is used only to provide and improve app features
  • Health data is never shared with third parties for advertising or marketing
  • Health data is stored securely and is not sold
  • You may revoke access at any time through iOS Settings

d. Apple TV Data

The GetMaximumFit Apple TV (tvOS) app acts as a companion display for your iPhone. It connects to your phone to stream and display your workout content on a larger screen. The Apple TV app does not independently collect, store, or modify your personal data.

Apple TV Compliance:

  • The Apple TV app does not collect or store personal data on the device
  • All data remains on your iPhone and is governed by the mobile app privacy practices described above
  • The Apple TV app cannot create, update, or modify any data on your phone
  • We do not collect or access any data from other apps on your Apple TV
  • No health or fitness data is read from or written to Apple TV
  • No data from the Apple TV app is shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes

e. Social Sharing Data (Optional)

Images and captions you choose to share (we never store your social login credentials).

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and personalize your workout experience
  • Sync and store workout history
  • Suggest exercise progressions using AI
  • Improve app functionality and fix bugs
  • Enable social sharing at your request
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

  • Consent — Apple Health access, analytics, and marketing preferences
  • Contract — Delivering core app services you've requested
  • Legitimate Interests — App improvement and security
  • Legal Compliance — Meeting regulatory obligations

5. Consent & Data Control (GDPR-Specific)

We provide in-app controls so you can:

  • Enable/disable Apple Health data sync
  • Enable/disable analytics tracking
  • Enable/disable diagnostics and error reporting (Settings → Share diagnostics)
  • Enable/disable marketing communications
  • Request data deletion directly in the app
  • Export a machine-readable copy of your data (data portability)

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share data with service providers (Firebase, analytics tools, Apple Health API) and legal authorities when required by law.

Diagnostic and error reports are stored in our Firebase project and delivered to our own support inbox so we can act on them. They are not shared with any third party for that party's own purposes.

7. International Data Transfers

If we process your data outside the EU/EEA, we ensure adequate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent).

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Health data from Apple Health is stored locally or in secure, encrypted databases and deleted upon your request.

Diagnostic and error reports are deleted automatically 30 days after they are recorded.

10. Security

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post updates in the app and revise the "Last Updated" date.
